This training will give you an opportunity to explore fresh approaches to effective teaching and learning strategies which will help students engage more in their learning and raise achievement in examinations.This training is delivered in 2 parts.In Part 2, delegates will:- Be introduced to a range of teaching and learning strategies particularly applicable to humanities subjects.- Have an opportunity to share best practice of what has worked well with students studying these specifications.- Discuss strategies for optimising the learning of students by looking at a range of strategies that engage learners in developing knowledge and understanding, and key skills in humanities subjects and evaluative methods that students need in humanities.- Network, discuss best practice and share ideas with other teachers.The content of this training is based on the reformed specification for first examination from June 2019. Please note: a recording of the training will be available to attendees only.This training can count as 2 hours of CPD.

Learning outcomes
