20 October 2021 at 08:00 - 10:00 BSTPlease note: This is a repeat of the training that took place in 2020.This online training is designed for teachers who are delivering the Pearson Edexcel International GCSE Chinese specification. This training will give you an understanding of how assessments are structured for the qualification and how your teaching can be adapted to help your students’ performance on examination papers. The training is comprised of two 'standalone' modules which are booked separately.In Module 2, delegates will:- Revisit the assessment objectives discussed in detail in module 1 of this course.- Consider how the questions in Paper 1 (Listening) and Paper 3 (Speaking) are marked, using mark schemes and sample student responses and by looking at feedback from previous exam series.- Discuss strategies for teaching to try and make sure students can access questions targeting different assessment objectives.- Review the support Pearson offers for the qualification.- Network, discuss best practice and share ideas with other teachers.The content of this training is based on the reformed specifications for first teaching from September 2018.Please note: a recording of the training will be available to attendees only.This training can count as 2 hours of CPD.
